No Place Like Home - Camp Cove Swim

For most of us here in Australia, we’ve spent a lot of this year cooped up inside, unable to roam around or to escape the colder months. Now that our summer is only just around the corner, and we’re (finallyyyy) freed of restrictions, I reckon we’re all pretty ready to get our beach days back on in a big way. I also reckon Camp Cove is ready to set you up with all your swimwear needs!

From triangle tops to rashies, high waisted bottoms to tie sides, they have got you covered. Their new range ‘No Place Like Home’ consisting of six new prints, sees the brand exploring their first photographic designs, venturing out of the hand illustrated look and setting a slightly new tone for the brand. Our favourite part about the range is the fact that the cloud print and Digi Flora print were actually created from vintage gardening collectable cards; talk about resourceful!

Entirely crafted in Jervis Bay, Australia, from recycled fabric, the new collection ‘No Place Like Home’, is all about a greater appreciation of exactly what home is, and the beauty and pleasure of everyday life in it. During the design process, not only was Katherine, the Camp Cove founder, facing the usual stay at home orders, but she was also working from her hospital bed following a rather intense surgery. She spoke of a slightly different inspiration found in this unique location, “In years past we would consider new locations, holidays destinations and trips away from home as where beauty and pleasure would lie. But when you change your perception, you can see beauty wherever you are. This collection is a celebration of the simple beauties of life and to encourage us to live a bright, sunny life no matter where we are in the world.”

The remaining four print designs, Blockhead, Bubbly Floral, Lavender Tile and the Aussie Map, are the more traditional Camp Cove style we all know and love. The Aussie Map design is a stand out to us this time round, featuring traditional Indigenous place names and a portion of the profits being donated to The Healing Foundation - a national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation that provides a platform to amplify the voices and lived experience of Stolen Generations survivors and their families.

So if you’re in need of a new kini for this summer coming up, the one we’ve all been dying for, you know where to look. You can always find a cozzie from Camp Cove to suit any type of body, their various cuts and shapes in all their designs making them especially inclusive and easy to wear. Their emphasis on this is something we truly love and support them for, so do yaself a favour head over to their campcoveswim.com give the new designs a squizz and get your summer beach wardrobe stocked.
