Premiere: Sugar Leaves - Dolce Vita
Today we have the absolute pleasure to be premiering Sugar Leaves new single: Dolce Vita. Sugar Leaves is the solo project of Cassius Surman, a young musician hailing from Queensland's capital, Brisbane. The project began in 2017 with Cassius and since has flourished into a roster of regular collaborators who’ve met at live music shows, skate parks and a few other unexpected places. Together, they’ve created a succinct blend of sounds centred around a love of art and creative expression.

Cassius graces us today with easy flowing lyrics and dreamy riffs to introduce us to Dolce Vita – a name which translates to Sweet Life. The name of the song truly fits the soundscape of this track, with its sweet synthy notations and swirling backbeat which will quickly get you caught up in the whole drift of the song.
When speaking about the new single, Sugar Leaves shared that “Dolce Vita is an escape…it’s a place that lacks all the real world flaws that we feel everyday.” Which is a fitting way to describe the psychedelic dreaminess of the new single. Dolce Vita will be out on all streaming platforms at of March 10th!
