YOUR NOVEMBER GIG GUIDE
Hey everyone! Last month was huge. There was so much on for the Wanderer team, so much so that it feels like we’ve blinked and it’s suddenly November. In October, we launched our ninth print issue of our magazine, titled WHICH WAY NOW & we had a big party at our beloved warehouse in Bellambi (sadly the last launch party to be had in the building) where we had the time of our lives! To soundtrack the night we had everyone’s favourite Novocastrians dust & our local friends Chimers. It’s almost a month later now and we still can’t believe how epic it was. This new issue, now completely tangible and real, is full of interviews with local and global artists and packed with heaps of awesome words and pictures. I highly recommend getting yourself a copy if you haven’t already, you can do so here…
Aside from all this fun stuff, we’ve been ticking boxes and kicking goals on all of our regularly scheduled wanderer programming too! Copies of our new November mini zine are being printed as I type this, and will be folded up and shipped out in the next few days for you all to enjoy. This month’s mini is a special edition crafted in collaboration with Speed Drive Inc to commemorate their amazing festival GONG CRAWL: a one-day mini fest of live music, art and parties spilling out of control across 14 venues in the Wollongong CBD. Oh, and it’s 100% free! So a big flagdown for you all that NOVEMBER 22nd is the Gong Crawl and that it’s not gonna be one to miss. Huge round of applause to Dan Breda, the Speed Drive team and Yours & Owls for this impressive feat and for doing the most for all the punters and great people of the Illawarra.
