YOUR MARCH GIG GUIDE
What’s up, world?
Wanderer has had a hell of a month to say the least! At the end of Feb, we sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved studio space in Bellambi. Wanderer had been working out of that room for over 4 years. Nebula was like a second home for all of our team and those we shared it with, a place that held so many memories, so having to pack it all up and leave it behind was a pretty big deal for us all…
But! New chapters have to begin whether you are ready for them or not.. Adapt and survive, you know? Right now, the Wanderer tribe is living the nomadic work life, spending our office hours in Amber’s home studio, or whichever local library we see fit for the day, and occasionally working from the pub with a schooner instead of a latte… so all things considered, it could be worse!
Anyways, here is gig guide number three of 2026, all polished and ready for you and yours to enjoy! One highlight from this month’s list is a tribute show for Wollongong local music hero Ben Hession, who sadly passed away earlier this year. Ben was an endearing figure, always eager and passionate about Wollongong’s live music scene. As a radio host, a gig goer, and a constant smiling face, Ben is someone worthy of being celebrated and remembered. His tribute show is on the 14th of March at the Unibar and features a huge list of some of Wollongong’s best from years past and from our current scene including Tumbleweed, Zambian Goat Herders, Chimers, and Wollongong. Come along to hear some great music, some poetry, and pay respects to this Gong legend. Vale Ben!
