YOUR OCTOBER GIG GUIDE
I’m sorry to say this but… this October Gig Guide is most likely the largest in wanderer history. Don’t fact check me, though. Typically, we limit gigs to two or three per date, keeping our illustrators and designers happy (and sane) — but some dates this October have four, five, even six great gigs that were all too good not to include.
If your attention or tired thumbs fail you before you reach the bottom, I forgive you.
Again, this guide is so packed full to the brim because of all the gigs we found when making our Mini Zine’s gig guide! These mini zines should be out in the world and into your grubby hands in no time, so keep an eye out.
We would also like to chuck a big spotlight on one special event this month — ours!
On October 11th, we will be hosting a magazine launch for our newest annual issue titled ‘Which Way Now’ on our home turf at Nebula Studios, Bellambi. Our launch last year was unbelievably fun, so we are super excited! But this event is not just a mag launch… we are collaborating with Rad Management and Newcastle’s best dust to celebrate their new studio album ‘Sky is Falling’, out everywhere on the 10th. The band will be performing at the launch, playing new music and old favourites, alongside local legends and good friends Chimers. We’ll also have Chris Frape aka Max Bond spinning tunes in the early arvo to get everyone in the party spirit.
So it goes without saying, we highly recommend you get yourself a ticket (before they’re all gone) and come along to celebrate with us!
